I have a 1967 Washington quarter with a shadow of a 5 between the 9 and 6. Should I spend all that money to have it graded or just keep it for a conversation piece ?
First, you shouldn't bother Peter with stuff like this, just ask it as a question. Second, if you want people to give you an opinion, you have to show us the coin.
Third, is it a skinny 5? I ask that because if it was a normal 5 it wouldn't fit in between the 9 and the 6, no way!
Hello James. Welcome to Coin Talk. Take a little time to familiarize yourself with everything here. When you first posted, at the bottom of the page there is a button for you to click on to upload pics from your computer with the option of using full size (another button to click) which is the best way to get a response here. There are no address's to send a photo to here, just a bunch of folks available to help answer your question. Peter is the owner of this site but is rarely here. If you have any problems navigating the site you can ask us or even one of the moderators for help. As far as uploading pics from a phone, I really do not have a clue as I do not have one.
No. If picture is on iPhone, get it into computer, then just go down to bottom of page and click "Upload a File."
Probably nothing. There is no reason why there is something that looks like another number should be there except some sort of pareidolia effect. Don't assume you have something, you need to prove it first. Also.. Mint Errors are attributed, not graded
You can upload images from an iPhone library by using the "upload a file" button below the text box when posting a reply. There's no need to transfer the image to a computer first.
I was moving everything to my computer for two or three years before I finally realized that I could just do it from my phone.
Not to Ed, to Fred.......whoever the devil he is. New Tappan Zee bridge (westbound) opening up on Friday. Thought you folks should know that.......
We never say his name out loud. It's rumored that he is a rich and powerful man that flies his own jet (ala John Travolta.) There are some pros here. But most of us are old, and washed up guys who never made the 'bigs'. We travel by bus, stay in cheap motels, and eat junk food. However the collective wisdom on this forum is like having your own personal encyclopedia. Three things to remember: Never wink at the pitcher, or you'll be dusting yourself off. Never swing at the first pitch. If you have a question, always post good coin pics.
