Thought I might share one more find before I turn it in for the night . The eye and the word GOD looks very strong to me but what do you guys think ????

I don't see any doubling. By the way, I think @paddyman98 :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: has grown tired of reminding everyone that the correct term is "doubled die", not "double die".

What do you think the extra metal is at the top left of bowtie?

I thought that bow ties were made of cloth, not metal.

I don't know but it looks like it actually travels down the entire coin .

The "extra metal" you are seeing is a plating bubble. Nothing more than damage. Take a toothpick and you can actually push on the plating and move it or pop it. I see no reason to keep this coin.

Nice Doubling on this one, But I would part with it soon before that bubble pops and detracts from the value. I think there is already zinc showing on the "E" of liberty. And that bad spot under the reverse "O"
