Any chance this is a small date 1982?

It weighs 2.5g. The 2 looks thin but it has that flip of the tail. I can't tell the difference except by weight. Any input? Thanks, Tom.

Yes. I think the Philly small date carries a higher price. But the D's can be good in the highest grades. The large date has a sloppy 2. And the small date has a fully formed delicate 2. The weight just means it is zinc. Denver didn't produce 1982 small date in copper (3.1 grams) but at least 1 has been found.

Does appear to be the small date, the large date is thicker and not as well defined.

Did not mean to duplicate your answer. We were typing 2 minutes apart and your pics had not loaded for me yet.

I know the 82-d copper small date is the rarest, with just one found so far, but how does the 82 copper small date rate in rarity?

    I don't know but it's still fun.
