I am very new to collecting coins and I bought $80 in halves they were customer wrapped and I found 2 Franklin's 1952-54, 22 1964 Kennedy's, and about 84 1965-69 Kennedy's should get any of them graded or sell them to buy coins that have already been graded, whatca think! Thanks!
Depends on the grade of the coin. Pics would help. Most likely it wouldn't be worth the cost to grade them.
Wow was this your first time coin roll hunting? I posted my first coin roll hunting but wow to me you hit the jackpot in coin roll hunting! the $80 you spent on those half dollar is worth at minimum (based on silver): around $358 that is not counting the condition or any possible error's. With my coins I put them in 2x2 flips and put them in 2x2 binder pages in a nice leather binder. Let us know what you plan to do with them
Also I believe 1970 Kennedy's are silver - they are from proof sets. But they should be pretty hard to find (in CRH)
1970-D Kennedy 40% silver low mintage. You are doing better just by the silver (I would prob keep the Franklin's) really not worth the cost of grading. There is an "accented hair" variety on the 1964 Philly. Look for that.
Dang, I was at the bank and they had $40 in customer wrapped, but I ended up with a 1982-S proof and a 1972-D with a very weak designer's initials.
That's quite a haul! Personally I'd sit on them for a bit if there isn't anything fancy in there. Silver/$ is low and I feel a little patience will pay off in the somewhat near future.
Like I said somewhere on one of these topics I was asking what should I do with them, these coins were customer wrapped coins also.
