2015 state quarter

    I'm new to coin talk. I'm also new to coin collecting and determining what a true error is. I found a 2015 p mint New York quarter that the N is missing in New York, I thought it might have just been from a coin counter or something like that but there is no other damage to the coin it is in great condition. I'm having problems uploading a pic. But if I could get any help or information about this I would greatly appreciate it.

    Sounds like a grease-filled die which is fairly common and not really worth a premuim. Of course, pics would be helpful.

    Do you still believe it's a grease filled die? With seeing the picture?
