1982-D quarter error? Need some opinions!

Looks like the one i have but the mint mark i beleave is a d but it looks like its filled in

Without good, clear photos of both the obverse and reverse, it is only worth 25c.

Wasnt worth anything took it to the coin shop and the guy said it was just a filled in mint mark.But he gave me $25.00 for it.He said its a great condersation peace.So i got lucky

 

Wow. Let me know who gave you $25 for it. I have a 2016 Great Smokey Mt quarter with a filled P mm sitting on my desk. Most filled die errors are only worth a buck or so.

I have a 1982 quarter that has the “in god” filled in and the mint mark looks like it should be a “D” but it is filled in as well. Any thoughts on the value because it certainly has to be an error.

 

Without pictures it would just be a guess, could be damage to the coin or it could be die chips on the letters. Small die chips are quite common and don't carry much if any premium.
