Must be from the Gorton Fisherman or change from Long John Silver's To be serious, you should start a new thread and post some clear, cropped pictures. There is no way to provide an accurate assessment without pics.
Without good, clear photos of both the obverse and reverse, it is only worth 25c. Chris PS. It would be best if you started your own thread rather than "piggyback" on another thread.
Wasnt worth anything took it to the coin shop and the guy said it was just a filled in mint mark. But he gave me $25.00 for it.He said its a great condersation peace. So i got lucky
Wow. Let me know who gave you $25 for it. I have a 2016 Great Smokey Mt quarter with a filled P mm sitting on my desk. Most filled die errors are only worth a buck or so.
I have a 1982 quarter that has the “in god” filled in and the mint mark looks like it should be a “D” but it is filled in as well. Any thoughts on the value because it certainly has to be an error.
Without pictures it would just be a guess, could be damage to the coin or it could be die chips on the letters. Small die chips are quite common and don't carry much if any premium.
