I picked this one up today. It's too bad about the hole, but it's now by far the oldest US coin I own, and for $10, I'm certainly not complaining
A piece of history for sure. Did you know that folks would drill holes in coins, string them, and wear them about there neck?
I was going to send one of these in to PCGS for grading. After I filled out the form and saw it would be $65.00 plus my shipping, I just figure I'd wait for a 69. Here it is $17.00 including shipping.
IF I had to pay cash, all 3 would have been $20 total. I traded an old game system for these and some other non coin related items.
These were in another album from the bay and Under $50. Fresh from the mail and still havent had a much needed bath yet. I'm curious whats under the dirt and dust.
Picked this up at the ANA auction. One I had been looking for a decent example of for some time. It's a much better strike than most of the mushball '13-S I've seen. It's in an old ANACS holder.
