Last night cracked a new solid date bank wrapped roll to find two of these. I was pleasantly surprised as this roll I got for face value at the bank in 1995. 1 1995 Liberty doubled lincoln cent 2.jpg 1 igwt 1995 lincoln cent doubling 2.jpg img715.jpg img716.jpg

WOW, not to seem mercenary, but how much do those go for?

Around $50.00 in MS65. These have some really nice surfaces so I'm really not sure how it would grade out. It's in the Cherry Pickers Guide. I'll probably send to Wexler just to make sure is the same and not a different die stage.

Thank you for that comment. All these decades I thought I was going blind.

I'm waiting for another ANACS special as I'm putting together a lot of errors but not ready quite yet. Awhile back I found a 1969S with missing F.G. initials also. Only take away was a fingerprint on the obverse.

Maybe we should start running the fingerprints on these mishandled gems and see if it's just one sick, maniacal mean person trying to drive us all nuts?

That looks MS68RD to me. On top of that, it's an EDS example. They could throw out the price book on it for that. I'd be thinking of preserving it the best I could.

There is that one small nick below Liberty that might make a difference. For now, in a 2X2 as I am loathe to place in a flip this early on and risk any rubs. I don't have any airtites handy either. But can always wish for a 68!

You know it better than I do. But EDS is a plus, too, because the doubling shows the sharpest on those.
