Okay so here is another 1967 Dime that has some sort of doubling. I can't determine if its a dd , ddd or mechanical. Not sure if all of the T's on the 1967 dime have that dip in the top bar almost making a V in it like the ddo-001. Anyone see anything worth getting excited over ?
Are you using a loupe to take your close-ups? It seems that the images are too much out of focus. FWIW, I see what appears to be die deterioration, but I don't see any true doubling. Chris
Yes I'm using a loupe. Are you looking at them with a phone or on the computer? I figured it was that because of how badly the strike is but I'm trying to get to the bottom of my T question. See how the T has the little V in the top bar. Would that be caused by a deteriorating die? Or is that pretty common on dimes?
All I had was the 17x loupe so used what I had. And No one asked you if you give a ship. I see this is the wrong place to ask questions. I don't think I sent this to your inbox directly but sure lets be a dick instead of finding a thread where your ignorant comments are useful. But thank you for trying to help Cpm.
I use a desk top only. I'm not smart enough to use a smart phone. I'm not sure what caused the "dimple" in the "T" but it surely wasn't intentional. Chris
