Ignoring the fact you have the coin in hand, please just take a look at your photo and tell us if you can clearly see or identify the anomaly of which you speak? Many here would love to help, but we have to be able to clearly see the issue in order to reasonably do so. That said, do consider the fact that this was the year after the bicentennial...
I am sorry, Eric, but I can barley make out much of anything with the last photo (and I did try). That said, it's almost certain that what you're experiencing is call "pareidolia" and is very common in this hobby. It's not a bad thing and is part of the human condition, but very often explains such anomalies.
Take multiple pics and make sure you focus, rotate, and crop your pics. Post your best pics of the front and back of the coin (obverse and reverse). Many folks here are very knowledgeable and willing to help, you just have to give them something to work with.
