Okay last thread for a while. I know I'm wearing it out. I swear I'm seeing everything I need to see for a 1965 DDO-001 or possibly a 002. The eye is there, LIBERTY looks the same , bow tie looks doubled on left side. If not I will admit I'm losing it and its time for a break. Help help.
Thats what I'm talking about. Crush my dreams on my last thread. Haha. I figured it was not the needle from the haystack but had to check. Thanks for looking.
Doesn't have to be a last time!!! You are learning!! We all know how incredibly hard it is to spot ddo for a lot of people including myself. In no time you will be posting with confidence with perseverance!! You are learning faster than a lot of people i have seen.
I'm already ready to post another one. Haha. It takes a lot to knock me off my horse. I have found some nice errors so they get me reeled right back in and excited. I am going to post a coin in a few min but I took these pics at the same time as the 73 and before I figured out how to make them clear. Ill post 1 pic here and you can tell me if its worth starting a thread and adding more photos with. Or scratch pile. Its a 1983 D. 1 minute
okay so 2 pics. The 8 I found the extra line on the right side coming out of the dip in the side. I swore I saw the die crack in the hair but you know more than I do about this.
Yeah that's ddd lol. You got s good eye. You will find ddo soon. Remember, I have been searching for ddo for about a year and haven't found one. Maybe it's because I haven't searched enough. But you will find it. If you want, you can post pictures to me on my Facebook if you feel like you don't want to be seen posting too many. I don't mind. And if I ever have a question about it, I'd say what should be looked at further. I might also add that you should throw away that camera used to take the pictures of the 83 and keep the camera that was used to take pictures of the 65
I took the pics of it days ago. I don't just find all of these. I have been hoarding for several good months so I have a ton of separated key and semi key dates. I found a 1972 ddo fs-104 or that's what it was labelled as by several well known guys in here. That's the best thing I've found. I have found some other errors but ddo or ddr not much. I know I have 3 or 4 other 72s that are definitely dd but they are the most common dates that hold very little premium.
