I just received this slabbed 2014 baseball hall of fame silver proof dollar in the mail today. Upon closer inspection, the lace on the right side reverse has its frosted surface nearly completely off of where I believe it's supposed to be. It's as if the laser missed the mark on the die when the laser was working on the lace area. Or, it may be two separate reliefs for the lace with only the right-most lace frosted over. Would this be an error or a variety? Or, is that normal/typical? I can't see this much separation on the stock images. Thanks in advance!

Neat link - I didn't know PCGS had a list of images like that. Now that I think about it, I'd guess that the laser wasn't calibrated correctly for some of the dies on the steeper area of the curved surface. That must've been tricky and overlooked for the Mint's first curved coin.
Once you get to any of the coins in coin facts there's a link where you can see all of the pictures they've taken for it. All their TrueViews are available online for people to browse. That probably was a tricky spot for them. I'm going to browse the half dollars and see if they had the same issue. Was interesting that you caught that and pointed it out seeing a lot of the different final products they ended up with.
