I wonder how many were distributed at the Mint Centers and how many were taken to the Coin Show?

 

I think I got mine (e.g- their website took my money!). Can't wait to see what it looks like.

The website already says "This product is currently unavailable".

 

Argh... I should have bought more if I knew they were going to sell out so quickly. I only bought 2 sets!

4 is plenty! Probably 3 too many as I sit and stare at that stack of unsold 2015 Native American Coin & Currency Sets that will cost me more to sell than what I paid.

 

Wow I didn't think they would sell out that quickly!!

 

I did. I got burnt missing the Congrats set with the Silver Eagle earlier this year even though I placed my order at 12:03. This time I jumped at noon almost exactly.

 

You'll get another shot at that Eagle. It's supposed to be included in another set later this year!! I missed that one too!! Lol

5 Minutes?

I guess the Mint must have taken about 100,000 sets for distribution to the Coin Show and the Mint Retail Centers?

I kinda figured that HSN, MCM, L&C and all the other big Modern Coin Marketers would be ordering in lots of 1,000 or maybe even 5,000.

Stupid US Mint! No Household Ordering Limit ALWAYS translates into Deep Pocket Outlets cornering the Market and then fleecing the Coin Collecting Public.

I half expect to see FDOI Slabs puking out of the ANA Show or maybe 1st Purchased at the Show Slabs.
For sure a freaking TON of First Strike™ Sets will be belched out!

What other slab "types" will be created or regurgitated?

 

These were a prime target for large dealers. These will no doubt be a key sets for those that collect mint and proof sets. Even though proof sets have been on the decline, these still represent the smallest mintage plastic lens set by a large margin, even beating out the low mintage silver sets.

I got 5 and I am good with that.

 

New ebay listings are as high as $100...

 

That's just ridiculous!!!

Most seem to be in the $50-$60 range. There are several large lots of 50 as well. Haven't seen any graded presale sets yet.

 

I was planning to buy 10 or so, but had to be somewhere at noon today. Darn. Now I hope they crash, lol. Don't look at the highest priced on ebay, look at the current (latest) sale figure. They are in the $50 range right now.

 

Er, make that $60 range.
