Totlly Workable Price and I strongly expect a rapid sell out! 15 minutes or less! The market will be inundated with special labeled sets from the ANA Show and who knows, maybe bus loads of transients will once again be shipped in to stand in line and purchase them at the ANA. Why does the US Mint pull this crap??
They do. Or renderings. They don't strike one up and legit photograph them for the webpage as far as I know
If it was any more than 29.95 I'd wait. I let the hype for the Kruger die down for 7 months before I bit. Still paid 48 for an ounce of silver...but it's a really nice piece of silver.
Thing is, when they do these special finishes in the middle of a series, it makes it a bit difficult and uneven. If 2017 is the ONLY year for the enhanced quarters, fine. It reminds me when the mint started business strikes in SF for the National Park series 2 years into the program. I'm collecting an example of every quarter from 1890-present in the best condition I can afford them in. I do look forward to seeing the enhanced quarters though.
I agree the starting mid series is a bit weird, but at the same time the designs won't be changing anytime soon so they really don't have a choice. I would like to see them do a special finish set every year, but use different finishes that are rotated every year so you don't get the same special set more then say twice in a decade.
My bad, you are correct. It is Tuesday. Put your popcorn away again. Post was edited for the correct day.
Ha. Maybe I should buy a few to make mine free. But then again it may flop and I'll be stuck with more than I wanted. Dunno.
