1982 penny misstrike?

    I have this 1982 penny and it looks like it wasn't struck right. I'm new to coin collecting and I just wanted your opinion of it.

    If the reverse is normal then it was struck with misaligned dies, if the reverse is off as well then it was struck off center. Either way it is not off enough to carry a premium.

    Correct.. It's known as a Misaligned Die Strike. Minor Mint error but common.

    As the others said, it is a common error and it is not misaligned enough to be worth much more than face value.
