Whitman quarter book problem

    Coinwoman After you box 'em....?

The 1965-1987 Whitman quarter book has been giving me issues with keeping the quarters in place and not popping out. It's VERY annoying. When I think they're all in there I go to close the folder and some pop out. Usually on the last page.

Anyone have tips for fixing this issue? Yes I have 2x2s but I'd like my year to year quarters in this book for nice display. This is the only one I'm having this issue with.

I used a little bit of paper, fold it over and tuck it in, between the coin and the edge of the hole.

Honestly, I don't know why you want to use the old Whitman albums in the first place because it only allows you to see one side of the coin. Granted, a Dansco album costs more, but it is much, much nicer and allows you to view both sides of the coins at the same time.

Don't glue or tape them in.

If you want a nice folder that does not allow coins to pop out, try the ones by H.E. Harris & Co. They are cheap, but work well.

I'd have to agree with cpm9ball (Chris). I use Dansco with a slip-cover and have never had any issues with them falling out. I also feel like they are better protected.
