I'm confused in every which way possible I'm not sure if I should be disgusted by the rudeness of this or believe it's some sort of joke or lie I just don't know nor do I want to. I want to forget I read this thread.

 

Now perhaps you can understand how the members here feel about coming here to post about our hobby and have a troll come in after the fact and add to a legitimate topic nothing but lies!
The members here for the most part are good people who share their knowledge and experience. There are some here whom have given more than time to help others to grow this hobby.
However for months this person has done nothing but come in and posted garbage, and lies.
One can only give those "trolls" a pass for so long!
No matter what our differences here we are a tight community.
We do share a passion for this hobby ,and want it to continue for years to come after we are gone!
My point if you have something constructive to add....say it ,share it.
But what can one say... who has nothing to say? NOTHING!
And don't insult the intelligence of those whom have been in this hobby for decades.

 

I understand now and I wasn't insulting the knowledgeable members here just trying to clear up of people are being rude or the poster is a troll and now I know the poster is a troll so you guys haven't said anything wrong.

It is not a problem, and I think I speak for most everyone when I say that no grudge will be held against you for calling it like you saw it. The continued existence of the poster who has spawned all these comments is a problem. For someone like you who has no background information, no awareness of the track record of a given poster, you've no way of judging who's believable and who isn't.

So when a committed troll is allowed to continue posting, building postcount and time seniority, the line between expert response to a question and Fake News is blurred. The ultimate outcome will be, a newbie cannot join the Forum and expect a reasoned and accurate answer to their question, and the forum will not be trustworthy.

Not sure why that's an acceptable outcome.
