He/She has not shown the typical operating mode of a troll. If everyone posting such things of equal validity/proof or worse, or of self-serving comments, or their idea of real (but not against the rules )humor were banned, there would be a lot of missing friends. Should everyone who thinks they "know" coins and value be banned ? Should everyone who "knows" the future of bullion? Or my gosh, what is a real error, variety or impossible coin? I certainly wish I could ignore every such post/thread, but I can't. Most members can by politely explaining why they are totally wrong so any novice can understand the difference, and then ignoring completely that particular poster on any thread.

If they violate the rules, that is different, then you would get your wish. Just don't let them lead you into doing that. Jim

 

I was really more referring to his flat out lies about his offers from Bowers and Stacks, and being a TPG grader. Also his lies about coins he "bought" like the Green dollar. Humor comments and predictions don't bother me

 

I think Doug left the lying part out of the rules as most people here are anonymous to each other, and several claim, to be or have been TPG graders or error authenticators, more than one has claimed to be not from this earth, and some even claims snopes is biased, so it has to be that each member determines what is truth or lie and keep it to themselves. I want to pull my remaining hair out at least once a week because of some of the misstatements in my opinion, but I don't.
