Found this today, a die chip near Roosevelt's eye... also have a question on all the lines radiating from his head, just a badly worn die ready to retire? 1996pdimeobv.jpg 1996pdimeobve.jpg 1996pdimeobver.jpg ...

Yes and Yes (die chip and worn die)

This photo is actually a great example
of what is called here die deterioration,
    worn die, overused die.

Some of the new National Park Quarters
    REALLY show this effect.

Is that a chip or a clash? If it's a chip, what exactly chipped off there?

His tear duct. It looks like he has another smaller chip off of the bridge of his nose...or could that be something else?

I was looking at the wrong thing. See his right lash popping out? Lol. I just got my little mind locked into it, and I couldn't let go.

Ya know I didn't even notice that lol. This is what he'd look like on an MS69 (not mine, ripped from photograde)

Well then yeah I didn't think that "right lash" (my description) belonged there. Maybe it is a clash.

Thank you guys for your responses. I took another look at that area you're talking about "right lash" . It is actually a small group of die chips that look like a lash...

I have a roll of sand dunes with the P and half the letters around it missing. Had about 10 rolls. And gifted most of them
