1983 Lincoln penny overlapsed

    i did find this 1983 penny that first I thought it was a off center but on the overse the bottom part looks normal but overlapped on the top with the lettering over the rim.     If you are talking about the lifted line that goes through the letters, it's most likely some sort of plating issue. But clearer pictures of the words One cent would be awesome. Clean the out side of your camera lense and better lighting Get a nice shot of one.

    It's called a "ridge ring". It's due to die deterioration & plagues copper plated zinc cents.

    Looks like a small die chip below one cent. Not 100% sure but looks kinda like it.
