We have a winner! I got the coin in last Tuesday's Heritage auction for $329 including BP. Out of curiosity I averaged together all of your guesses. It came out to $316.25, pretty close to what I paid. It's comforting to know that I didn't go overboard when bidding. It's scary how easy that is to do, especially with toners. At least this one isn't a monster, so there isn't as wide of a range of prices as there could be on others.

Wow, I only came within $4.00? That was a pretty good guess. LOL So with getting a win under my belt, I don't have a whole lot of coins that would have a toning premium to post. Most of the toned coins I've bought have been raw purchases. But I do have one that I consider to be the central piece to my collection. This 1909 Lincoln Cent in MS-66RB, its one of the few coins I have ever paid a premium for and I was more than happy to pay it. PCGS Guide lists a 1909 Lincoln Cent in MS-66RB at $135.00
For this one, I'll participate. I would personally throw as much as $225 at you for this coin. Maybe more. From your pocket, I suspect about $155 left in order to have it. Toner premiums are only "ridiculous" until you have a horse in the race.
Well, everyone here guessed low. Maybe it's because you're all used to me paying under market for my coins. LOL Well this one I had no qualms about ponying up for. It is one of the most attractive Lincoln Cent's I've personally laid eye's on. Granted I have never seen a really nice MPL yet. But, I believe this one would fit in very nicely among the other two that have been graded 66+RB thus far. I honestly would not question it in a 67 holder. It is an absolute luster bomb with pristine surfaces. The magentas and yellows on the obverse just pop far more than I could possibly photograph while residing in the holder. This one is never leaving my collection. I was hoping I might be able to get @SuperDave to play a round by bringing this one out. I'm grateful he participated. He and I were both working deals to bring home gorgeous examples of early Lincoln Cents. @moneycostingmemoney came the closest with a guess of $245.00. I gladly paid $255.00 for it. I bought it from Mike Kittle of Kittle Coins.
Well i will gladly pass the torch to @SuperDave since I'm on the road and won't keep the neighborhood waiting. Edit- unless a non slabbed pic of one in my phone would suffice?
