Thoughts on grade, VAM, and value. this one came in a silver coin lot I picked up from my local convenient store cashier. With a 21 S Morgan, and some random date 1/4's and dimes. I will add the 21 S for VAM shortly. Thanks
I would call it around a VF-35 or XF-40. Probably worth around $150-$200 on ebay. Very nice coin, may I ask how much you payed for it? Not sure on VAM.
I think I got it. VAM-4 near date C/C right. Vamworld census is 14 in all grades. Now how do I figure the value?
I'd say a VF-35 , sorry I don't collect Morgan's except as type coins and the main types . 7/8 tail feathers , 8 tail feathers , reverse of 78 and 79 and a few GSA CC Morgan's .
Guess you'd have to know how popular that vam is ! Like most coin varietys I'd say over dates or other high profile varietys like spiked chin or the like would raise the price more . I'm guessing but since the pup is the location of the mm I'd say it probably won't raise the price much at all , though I could be completely off and hope I am !
Yea not the most spectacular VAM, but it is an r.p.m. I think this one is going in my 7070. Although I might try and trade it toward a nice seated or trade $. Maybe a reeded edge bust half. Then again it's the only CC currently in my album. ARRRG!!! I.D.K
