Speedy, Boy, you aren't kidding are you? That 62 Cam is stunning. Reverse as good? They all look sweet !!!:thumb: I need one like that for my 1961 birth year set, hoping to run into Rick Tomaska in Phoenix at the ANA show just to drool.....
this is a little off topic, but has some relevance to it as well. If you left one 1964 Half or previous date as a tip, would you be considered cheap or generous? If the wait staff knew nothing of coins I'm sure they would feel like they got stiffed. If someone left that for me I would be ecstatic! What do you think would be the case in most circumstances?
The back is really nice too! Kindof funny since you said it...but I got that coin from Rick Tomaska.....I'm not sure but I think sometimes he "fixes" his photos alittle as the coins didn't see the same in his photos as when I got it in hand. The above is his photo....while it is a really nice coin and the CAM is just as thick as it shows there....the photo just looked fixed. Speedy
Well friends, I found out: Me: "So I have to ask, what are you going to do with that half dollar" H (her): What do you mean? Me: "are you going to spend it, keep it, what?" H: Oh, I'll probably just put it in the bank. Why? Me: *explains how people dont know about those and 2 dollar bills* So there, she's going to deposit it into her bank account.
Hold onto those horses! I didnt write this, because it would have been long, but, since you bring it up... She said she keeps her 2 dollar bills, because she likes them - and the number 2. So, of course I said "ah yeah, the older style ones are cool too" "What do the older style ones look like?" she said I replied "I cant explain it, I'll have to show you. I have one from 1963 and 1928." Soo..... Ill be back in town this weekend, where I'll get my older 2 dollar bills. And then, 1 week from now, I'll show her the older style 2 dollar bills. :high5:
