This website is not working. The coating is off and the coin looks weird. SLight red on it. Tell Webmaster to fix this website.

There is nothing wrong with this site. Are you trying to upload a file from your computer or a 3rd party site like Photobucket?

You are right about posting images .
I use another site, because this one isn't working for me either ..

No. This site is fine. You can "upload" a file but if you are trying to link the image via another file hosting site like "Photobucket" :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: the links may not work work.

I learned on another forum that Photobucket is going to start charging for their service because of all the photos that are downloaded to 3rd party sites like CT.

No matter to me because I never liked their service, anyway.

Okay, now I'm starting to understand the concept of 3rd party picture sites, but I still don't understand why Tap a Talk exists.

It exists because smartphone users have been indoctrinated to believe that they cannot successfully use the Internet without an "app."

Photobucket wants $399.99 per year to host images that you post on a forum like CT.

I don't think coin talk was the use case they are gunning for. More like the people hosting hundreds and thousands of images for eBay & sites like that

I do understand the words you are saying but still not the concept. The stock browser in iOS, Safari, is more than up to the task. I've always felt it best to have no apps on my iPhone and iPads that are duplicative of what's already there.

It is not downloading they are against, it is hot linking. Unlike Cointalk, some forums do not allow actual downloading of photos to their servers in order to limit the use of server space and members use url links to post photos... that are sitting on the Photobucket servers.
