I think I see a faint FG in there. These are grease filled die errors. The ones that have a premium are the ones that are completely gone.
This is caused ( Missing FG ) by die abrasion and here's a good thread for you all . http://out.easycounter.com/external/board.conecaonline.org
Nice write up. I was unable to see the photos, could you upload a few here? I had no Idea that it was from over polishing the area. Do all the no FG's have a floating roof?
Lets start with a early die state/stage, which has the FG and the roof intact too . As the abrasion starts, the floating roof is the first to appear . The more the die is work on ( abrasion ) the FG is now gone too . I was also told this should of never been put in the CherryPickers either .
