Help with a 201? dime please

Could someone help me please. I picked up this dime in change today and have never seen one with the front so worn with no edge, and the back almost perfect. Could this be an error from the mint, or do you think someone just rubed the front off.

That Dime was worn down somehow. See how the Reverse has a raised rim? That should be on the Obverse side also.

Thanks, it just seemed odd that the obverse was so damaged and the reverse showed no damage.

 

"Finger Calisthenics" (in a back-and-forth motion) performed on a sidewalk..........1-2-3-4, 2-2-3-4, 3-2-3-4, 4-2-3-4, etc., etc., etc.!
