Just to let you know, it looks like there is extra metal everywhere on this coin, but I know that is just gunk.

Nice one. Wood like to see it after it gets an acetone bath. The two "nines" are quite different.

What kind of acidtone shouldn't I use? Or do you have any recommendations on the brand I should buy? And how long do you recommend leaving it in there for? Reason why I ask is because I know that some acidtone has extra chemicals like bitterant so kids don't eat the acidtone

Its Called ACETONE. You will find it at a paint store. Brand name does not matter.
Soak in CLOSED container. VERY Flammable. One day should do it if it just glue or like substance on it.
Do a post research for Acetone, and do a little reading first.

Search for Coin Cleaning too will find you some good info. Then you will probably
have more questions. As this tends to be quite a controversial subject.
as to the extra chemicals, it is so small amount they are not required to put it on label.

Acetone is easy to find. Lowe's, Depot, Ace Hardware. A bath or two might improve the looks of the coin. Don't rub it with anything. Just see if the acetone baths helps.

Sorry I don't mean to be annoying but is nail polish remover safe?

Not annoying at all , And no, it does have perfumes and other "Stuff" in it.
that "stuff" can soak into the surface, or react with it.
