I'll wait a bit. My buddy ordered a set when I did and he doesn't have the $$ to pay for them, so I paid for them at Mint cost and I'll have a second set to keep or sell.

 

Unless there is someone home to sign for them, they probably won't be waiting for you. Mine came FedEx signature required. I wasn't home so I have to go pick them up tonight at the FedEx warehouse ...or I could wait until Monday ....lol..I'll pick them up tonight.

Even though I paid just $4.95 for shipping the label says PRIORITY OVERNIGHT
I also had to sign for it. In the past when the Mint shipped anything of value with FED EX they left a door tag that I needed to pick up my package at the local FED EX terminal. I don't think they'll leave gold laying around. It also looks like if you paid for expedited shipping it'll get to you the same way as regular shipping. At least you'll get it.

I figure I will be the first one in my town to get one. Probably the first and maybe the only one in my county . That is good enough for me. I wonder if HSN and ICG already have their slabs numbered. Who will be the first to have them Coin Vault or HSN. Love that battle of the titians. The excitment continues.....

how are you getting them by usps mine come by fedex and i have to walk 3 miles to get my coins. its certainly testing my fitness these days . i thought the mint only shipped them fedex. Please let me know. Thanks.

Spock you can request that method. I have ordered all of my coins from the mint via USPS and have not had a problem with it yet. It is much slower but it is almost impossible for me to be at home durning the delivery guys schedule so I went the postal (lol). Do not get that free upgrade but Postage is like $5 . It is worth it to avoid all the hastle to me. It is a post office box and is also my billing address. I get a little card that says come to the widow and sign for them.


Spock you sound like a young man to me. When I was your age.. well lets not get into that. Anyhow the tracking number is pretty much useless. It takes about a week for me to get them once they have been shipped by registered mail.

If you keep getting all that good exercise by walking to get you coins, then you will live long and prosper. PEACE.

ebay price

what are your thoughts on the price for the next couple of days on ebay. Number of items have doubled in the last few hours. A large number of people are throwing them to ebay for a quick profit. But I don't see a profit right now with so many available!!!

 

how do i request that method. is it something i fill out when i order. i always pay for the 5$ shipping but they send it via fedex for no extra charge. Let me know. Thanks.
