For whatever reason I had a feeling it would be a train related coin ;)
Jokes aside, that's a very nice piece!

Yeah, if I would pull the trigger for an overlaid two-toner, that one might tempt me. It's a nice piece, but I remain a stout traditionalist, which removes lots of Canadian pieces from my wheelhouse.

    I understand, but it's a steam engine.
Speaking of steam engines I'm thinking I may go to Phillipsburg, NJ tomorrow and check out the

And about a gazillion locomotives were built in my hometown, at the Reading Locomotive Shops.

The Reading T-1 is my favorite. I took this shot May 1977, under the Walnut St. bridge 2101.jpg

Oops, wrong Walnut Street. I thought you meant in Reading itself. My vantage point was from the roof of the parking garage near Cherry and 7th Streets, a site that is now the Santander Center Arena.

That is a beautiful coin. Not sure if you've seen but Australia is putting out quite a few train coins this year for their 100th anniversary of the train

It arrived yesterday a fast shot with my phone, plus I didn't remove it from my capsule. It's really nice, the marks you see are on the holder. 440 2-horz.jpg
