Almost look like a coconut on the coin at left. Say, Deacon Ray - you're gettin' younger on us! I'm a bit younger in my own (ca. 2004) avatar picture, too. All these digital "posters" you're creating have coffee stables book potential one day, y'know.
Many are public domain images but I also have a huge archive of stock photos from years of doing graphics for the church and charity organizations.
Sweet coins, Deacon Ray! Thanks to you, I have a couple that I'll post when I get home. Btw, you need to make posters and sell them. Erin
I'd buy some. I had one of the Roman coin posters put out by Dirty Old Coins. They're great. But our good Deacon could produce something even better that showed both sides of the coin and a bit of info, plus those little flourishes like the mosaics seen here.
Hi Theodosius. Most of my background images utilize stock photos of various World Heritage sites. Many of the older line drawings are public domain images. I've been collecting stock photos over the years working in the printing industry. I'm also a subscriber to iStockphoto.
Ta Da! I take the worst pics ever, lol. These coins are far better than my sucky photography portrays. Erin
The Judean date palm was extinct for about 1,000 years, but they sprouted some 2000 year old Judean date palm seeds in 2005 brought it back
Fascinating factoid! Thanks for sharing that! I can't watch that video on my present connection, but will, later.
