Going through some Wheaties tonight!

    Think I am going to go dig through some Wheaties tonight that I know have not seen the light of day for some time. Is there anything I should look for? I know 1909 and 1955 ddo anything else?

    First separate all of them by date/MM. After you have them by date/mm "google" by date/mm "1955D Lincoln Cent". This should give you key dates etc.

    Then to Link to see the variety listings for most all Lincoln Wheat Cents.

    For the major errors go to Link "Cuds and Die Breaks etc."

    A copy of the Red Book Guide To U.S. Coins would go a long ways in helping you on this question.

    Check out the Lincoln Cent Resource for all the goodies you should be looking for - but a separation by date and MM will help decide what to look for.

    Well did what I could tonight before the eye strain/pain set in pulled out some 55's but no ddo a few 1909 and a bunch of s mint marks that I need to look at better but I have more to do first!
