Your right, Cucumber! Sure, we argue and disagree sometimes—but we're brothers in liberty!

Happy Independence Day from Eastern Europe!

We celebrated the US by watching bald eagle documentaries :)

Despite the flaws of Democracy and Capitalism, the United States and the general Western World have forged the greatest societies in the history of humanity. More human beings have enjoyed liberty and prosperity under Western culture than under any other system EVER. Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are values worthy of every sacrifice, values that we should absolutely never, ever apologize for. Does the United States have its problems? Of course. Every society does. But the principles our founding fathers fought and died for make us a shining beacon to the world. God bless America.

Hi all. Was wondering what grade my fugio might get if i send it in for grading to pcgs and what the value may be. Also should i have them clean, restore, and preserve this coin. Thanks.

Nice Fugio Robert!! Very nice indeed!
Photos could be a little better for me to judge, but from the photos it looks better than XF to me. The weak MIND YOUR BUSINESS may give it a hit downward, but it could pull an AU. I find PCGS and NGC to be inconsistent with early US copper. I prefer ANACS. Having said that. Most early copper collectors don't care about plastic holders. The only reason I would slab your coin is if I wanted to sell it online. Maybe consider leaving it raw.
FYI, If you look up Fugios on HA.com you may easily find which variety you have. The die cracks and other easily seen markers will point the way for you.

I just blew up the images and think I may have overgraded. Rx is showing more wear than I originally thought, so VF-XF IMHO. Still very nice!!
