No I totally agree those pictures are crap totally agree with you when my wife gets home this evening I'm going to have her work with me on that new camera. Even though I've only been doing this a short time I haven't run across a triple it is very very clear that it's triple on 1968 S. With that being said I know the pictures doesn't show that but there is three layers on the date you don't even need any type of magnification to see it you can see it with the naked eye. And I haven't been able to find anything on the internet about a triple I have a beautiful 1968 S to compare it to
Maybe but, his pictures do not show it to positively be the 001 or the 001 alone. If you think so, you may be imagining more than what is actually shown, which is very little. There are several very subtle DDO's for this coin.
