    Quick question from a sentence on your web site:
    " The 1944 nickels were quickly spotted since Henning neglected to add the large mint mark of the Philadelphia mint (P). He also made counterfeit nickels dated 1939, 1946, 1947 and 1953."

    This may be on the web site also and if so please just direct me there.


    Can you (or how can you) identify a 39, 46, 47, or 53 as a henning nickel? The 44 is easy, are the others identifiable in any way?

    I believe all of Henning's counterfeits had that Looped R, which can be seen in the 44 closeup, but then again I've never owned one of Hennings other counterfeits nickels (only the 44), yet. ;)
