At the mint or after?

    This looks to me as if it happened at teh mint.

    Am I wrong?

    Use less lighting and post a couple more photos of both obv. and rev.

    That does sound likely. Most 2000 nickels had crappy strikes anyway. Better photos would help.

    Sounds reasonable. Could also be a heavy grease strike through, but the late die cap makes more sense to me
