I've always liked the beautiful simplicity of the British Lion & Australian kangaroo on this coin. I would guess that they are both looking to the future or something.

    Thanks for bringing in Australia.
    Their coins are elegant.
I have at the time being only 3 coins. All commemorative. I posted one of them already in another thread (prince Charles and Diana wedding commemorative. My family loves this coin a lot. They find it one of the most beautiful coins I have so far :)
Another commemorative is the world war coming home coin 2005.

So next is Australia or 2005 :)

Just played this one in the" Post an Ike" thread. Don't think I've played it here yet. Fits in perfectly with @Collect89 post.

As for 1974, I found a 10 piasters commemorative coin of 6 october 1973 war. The coin was struck in 1974 with an Egyptian soldier theme.

    20170626_133247.jpg next 1974 or Egypt.
Well since there is already another thread for coins from egypt i created recently, may be 1974 will play fine, to avoid duplication of posts in a short time...

@panzerman very nice coin. The rhino theme is beautiful. What AV stands and conservative series imply?)))

Hello Panzerman- Do you mind is I give you a complement? I am very envious of your collection and especially of your collecting focus & talent. I sometimes wonder what my collection would look like today like if I continuously focused on beautiful gold coins & high grade ancient coins like you have. When I began collecting coins seriously, gold was selling for about $32 per ounce. :) We all have unique collecting interests. It would be a boring hobby if we were all collected the same coins eh?
