1950-S Lincoln Cent (PCGS MS66BN). This was a $4 raw coin buy off eBay also in 2015. PCGS graded it MS66BN first time through.

I'm guessing probably after Al "Scar Face" Capone?

Looks like it came out of a box of Fruity Pebbles. :p

Ahh... It was a 50/50 guess for me, I figured they went with Al Capone on that one. That 1888-O is one little friend I would like to say hello to sometime. :)

I rarely spend more than spot for silver, but the toning on this one made me want to buy it just to see the other side. I spent $25 on this purchase and hope it looks good in hand. @Paddy54 @SuperDave

Hard to say what exactly they collect here. It seems to be mostly centered on bullion type things. There's certainly not the craze as there is in the US, but I see a lot of coins flow through ebay.de. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to snag a couple :)

I like seeing the German renderings of oh-so-familiar English ("white-headed sea-eagle"?). I'd consider looking for one myself, except that I'm already drowning in "interesting odds and ends". No place to display it.

I'll be really interested to see what the ASE looks like when you get it...
