Didn't know where else to post this but today I got this penny in change and at first didn't give it a second look because it was with other shiny pennies so assumed it actually was new but then I noticed that it had a different kind of shine to it and upon closer examination I see that it was from 1969.. not much of a big deal other than I find it odd to see such an old penny in such great shape out there in circulation..

Swapped for this at the LCS. Apparently 1929-D's are often poorly struck. This has a well-defined split tail, but the buffalo's entire head is weak.

What's going on with the mint mark?

New arrival. The 1923 S is a strange one: poorly struck, and plentiful and cheap in MS63 and lower. 64 is a solid collecting coin. 65 goes to multiple four figures and 66 to multiple five figures. Nothing ever graded above 66.

    Thanks @HAB 28 peace$ :)
