Spot conservation or coin doctoring?

Really ! Hmmmm, please show me examples of where non disclosure of a coin having been properly dipped has ever proved to be a legal problem ? And you are aware aren't you that it is pretty much accepted as fact by most knowledgeable people in the numismatic community that 80% or more of all older coins have been dipped at some in the life of the coin. Including those in any TPG slab.

So it is your contention that removing verdigris from a coin is somehow sophistry and/or intentional deception ? Or for that matter that any form of cleaning/conservation (and yes I mean both are the same thing) is intentional deception ?

Did you even for 1 second really think there was ? If so I suspect you were the one and only person on the planet who did.
