Hi everyone! I have a couple of Canadian tokens from the 19th century and I am hoping I can get some help on here getting at least something close to their grade.
The first is 1837 Duex Sous,/One penny. I know there are varieties for this token regarding his whip and something else I cant remember. Any help would do. I personally think it is close to Unc. I looked close with my 7x and 30x loupe and it looks like to me there is some weakness in the strike on the high areas.

Small ground (left collar at shoulder), Period. LC-9A3 for medal alignment. LC-9A4 for coin alignment (the scarcest variety of the 4 types). I'm think it's AU. Some rim bumps and many light nicks marks, so who knows what a TPG would say. Maybe details, maybe Commercial MS (61 or 62)

I think you are doing very good with your grading. That is a really nice coin.
I also like these old tokens. The symbolism and details make them quite
interesting, and somewhat of a challenge to identify the varietys.
Still looking for some as nice as the ones you have shown.

I know there is a guide you can purchase on these tokens. But i am wondering if there is website I can check out regarding these varieties. I would like to check that out.

IT is the medal alignment type.
