That one caught my eye when browsing the auction. The lion on the shield and in the left field made it more interesting than many, and the obverse is attractive as well.

    Wow.

    No, let me rephrase that.

    WOW.

    Still an understatement.

    WOW!!!

    There. That's better. :)

I only see one coin here, but that's enough.

Looks like a maxi-binge, on my budget.

I'm not an expert but this is a beautiful coin. It's full of detail.

What I found interesting is that the Reverse has a very laid back reclining Athena. I thought it was much more artistic than the upright figures one normally encounters.

Slightly, don't be modest. That's another beauty. Again, love that patina, and details are sharp. Just look at the hair, and well, everything. Awesome.

Guys I thank you all for the lovely comments. I don't know much about ancients. I buy what I find visually attractive after doing a bit of research. So my collection is a bit all over the place.;)

If those coins constitute a mini-binge, I can't imagine what a regular, let alone epic, binge would be. All five of those coins are great coins. I especially love the first Lysimachos tet and the Eumenes tet. Both rulers are high on my want list.
