Well here is my newest error - An 1817 Large Cent that is a Flip Over Double Strike - Certified by ANACS VF 20 Corroded (Oh well You cant always win) But I absolutely love this error - The Obverse has been struck on the Reverse with a 90 degree rotation & off center by about 20 degrees- It has a nice profile of the Bust & Liberty is struck through America - Corroded or not this is one of the coolest errors I have found in a long time ! Check it out & let me know what you think ,Id like to know if any one has ever seen one like this befoe ?
i think these were the ugliest design for the large cent. the obverse looks like a turkey necked she-man. Anyways I think this one is really great error. I can really see the liberty pressed over America. you would wonder if someone spent this when it was first made or it was kept and passed on through different hands.
That's a scream ! I just had to throw down a vote for "that's the shizzie". Maybe Weird Al Yankovic will have a song called "turkey necked she-man". Or Dr. Demento.
It has been cleaned too, although ANACS neglected to mention that on the slab. No more space maybe? Still, a nice coin overall.
