    I am not seeing much on doubled ears in the 1989 date. Plus you can't see the ear in this post very good. I'd say it's die chip or ware.

    Well I think what I was trying to say was see how wide the ear is the other pennys I've gone through the ears aren't that wide

    It could have taken a well placed hit in the course of it's life and gotten flattened out.

    I think what I was trying to say is that there is no such thing as a listed 1989 doubled ear. Unless you found the first example. Or I just can't find the listings on it.

    Kinda takes on the resemblance of cauliflower.

    Yeah that was my first thought abe with a cauliflower ear well I assumed that would be referred to as a PMD then correct
