I agree amen, enough time has been wasted which could have been spent learning or communicating. @Fee I might suggest a book or two if you are interested in Lincoln cents and other coin nuances. I have found them enjoyable and informative The first is called the Official Red Book, a guide book to Lincoln cents. It is a fairly easy read but some of the less important old news articles are strenuous at times. However the content is wonderful. Second book would be The Coin Collectors survival guide 7th addition. It address grading history, trends in collecting over years, counterfeit and altered coin basic detection. Coin design and manufacture and so much more. Since you seemed to be interested in some error coins I might encourage the cherry pickers guides, and finally but certainly not last the Red Book most current year available. It contains a tremendous amount of information US coins including mintage levels, mint and proof sets, gold silver coinage, bullion and commemorative. Pay very very little attention to Its suggested value though as I would say they are inaccuate at the very least. Good luck
Okay back to the original topic. First off Welcome to CT! I believe this is the first time I have replied to one of your threads. The first "T" looks like PMD. The second "T" looks like PMD and possibly an over polished die causing the crossbar to be shorter on the left side. Nothing worth saving and quite common. Hope this helps ya out a little.
I took it from your second post in this thread that you didn't like short answers. Anyway... I'm sorry. Please, excuse me*. *rolls eyes, walks away.
I dont even know their ages. I am humble and respectful I just am a little fiery at times, what can I say? It is over in my eyes.
You made your self noticed! Do you collect or did you just one day pick up this 70 S and say hey I want some more information on this cent? Either Way? Tell us a little bit of what you like to collect, and Welcome to CT, Enjoy the coins, and knowledge, learn something, even if it's Humility.
Thank you! Ok honestly I had a cent I found from a relative that died and it was a post mint error but I didn't know it and got it looked at and it got me into looking for it. All of the pennies I posted I found in my purse and the change in my car a few days ago. Yes I am new as in days new and I can't believe I found such awesome pennies just laying around. I sometimes threw change away, ugh, I know so horrible. I'll never do that again. Yes so I just bought some from a bank.8 rolls fixing to check them out. Thank you for the helpful info. Excited to be a new member of this community.
Oh and I am am artist so I'm usually doing that but I like to tinker with things lol. So this suits me well. Not a tv watcher, I just like to be creating art or a productive hobby. This gives me a relaxing break in between my day job and my artwork.
Hey fee I'm new at this too I just started coin roll hunting on Monday. But I've been watching this form for about 30 days as a guest. And what I have found out is there is a lot of knowledge on here and most of time. These guys do have a lot of knowledge my point being I went out and bought a red book a cherry pickers guide and several different magnifications 10,15 25,60 + 200 and as being new interested in the hobby I wouldn't have known to do that if it wasn't for the people on coin talk. So with that being said have fun look forward to talking to you down the road
