"Killingholme Hoard" intrigued me, so I Googled it. Cool! You're making me desire a coin with a published hoard provenance now. Maybe @AncientJoe will give me a good deal on his incredible Vespasian aureus from the Boscoreale hoard. That coin makes me weak at the knees. Sadly, my knees have become weak of their own accord, endangering my detecting career. But that coin turns them to jelly, and makes my eyes shoot out on springs.
I gave my father a coin, and I rightly got nothing. I am neither a father, husband, nor boyfriend of anyone.
ha! i remember my 1st(and only) cox engine fly by cable plane.. it made almost two complete rounds and then did an up and over dive into the ball diamond dirt..RIPieces

At risk of continuing the off-topic hijacking of this thread (sorry, Old Dead King), I will add that since I mentioned wanting to fly a drone out over the St. Simons Island (GA) lighthouse and pier earlier, I thought I'd post the following link: This person did just that, only instead of a drone, he went the lower-tech route and sent a camera up on a kite, which I thought was pretty neat. "Kite Aerial Photography". Cool concept.
Uh-oh, it seems I killed another thread. Sorry. Feel to resume on Fausta or ancient Roman female hairstyles, unless we've already milked those topics for all they're worth.
