i just sneaked a peek at the Denver 2017 World's Fair of Money interactive bourse map, and it appears my second favorite world mint (after Switzerland) is returning to an ANA show after a few years hiatus. The British Royal Mint has contracted for space, and my cash requirements just went higher. They will be just at the periphery of the "World Mints Promenade" at the left of the hall. Welcome back, U.K. Now that's what I call "B-return"!
The Royal Mint will be located in booths 131 and 230. Look who is located two rows directly to the right (booth 331) http://www.expocad.com/host/fx/ana/2017den/default.html
Hey Dave, the Phils are in Denver during ANA and I got GREAT (read: expensive) seats. Saturday night, the 5th. The 2012 game the night before ANA Philly opened was the game that ended the consecutive sellout streak at Citizens Bank Park.
Will you be selling or just showing? My first ever purchase, and regretted non-purchase, of your stuff were at ANA shows. I still kick myself for not getting a fantasy date Buffnick.
I hope the Brits table is right next to the US Mints, maybe they can teach the mint how to make beautiful coins
Far be it for me to suggest a flight to Denver. Aside from Frontier and its a la carte pricing, the flights do not strike me as a bargain.
Plane tickets from the west coast are still reasonable. There is now light rail service from the Denver airport to downtown ($9 fare). There's also a free shuttle within the downtown area. However, hotels near the Convention Center aren't cheap. Cal
I've heard that a special Britannia proof set will be announced in July. Maybe they'll have some at the Denver show. Cal
Heh. I have lived from Massachusetts to Texas, and from Alaska to Georgia. I now live in my tenth different state. Yes, I rather fancy Philly but it's just the next stop on a long and varied journey. Probably not the last. I'd like to walk to Colorado some day, but this is probably not the day.
Both. Recent (current) products will be available there. I will probably go through my "archives" and maybe find duplicates of some past issues to sell. This may include alternate finishes and other things that were not previously released. Not sure yet what all I will have. I will also have this on display (the first showing where leading numismatists can get a look at it):
