I am not entirely sure what you are asking. Are you asking if the coin pictures is a doubled die, or are you asking if the coin is a D/D. I am you going to assume that you are asking about a DD versus a D over D mint Mark which is commonly written as a D/D since your coin is a an S . IMHO, it is not a Doubled die. However you pictures are blurry enough that I am not 100% only about 90%, reason is the shelving appearance of MD of the mint Mark. If it were truly doubled that would not ordinarily be present. I realize that the 9 looks like a split serif however i still think MD or die deterioration
I think your photos are not adequate enough to make a sound judgement. There are Four [4] varietys of DDO for 1972-S.Have you seen this site? http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1972-S.htm. Let us know what you think.
