That sounds like a reasonable explanation to me.

    What else were you thinking?:);):woot:

You made the implication, not me. I'm only speaking from experience because I have been in your shoes many time. I can see when Chris is being a smart ass vs when he is trying to be helpful. I felt stupid. But you know what, Chris has a lot of my respect because he is knowledgeable and still helps me out, even after I messed up my thoughts about him weren't so nice. You kinda have to look at Chris like red foreman from that 70s show, but with respect Otherwise he will just pick you apart. Sometimes it's funny, if you don't look at everything he says like you living a midlife crisis. He really just makes observations in a rather funny annoyance. If you revolt, I've found that I look more like the ass then he does. Chris cool in my book.

Denic701 please ask any question. Sometimes people have smart ass responses. But it's part of learning about coins :playful:

Noted! Maybe they should be checked to make sure they have their rabies shots, first, before they are allowed to register.

So you know this, yet do not bother to delete the doubles? With all due respect, since you use a phone, you should also understand you very well may be wasting the money/data of those taking the time to look at your threads wishing help you. Personally, I'm not bothered by the posting of numerous DIFFERENT photos, but knowingly posting doubles simply because someone doesn't wish to spend a few short seconds editing is a tad ridiculous. Even "unlimited" data isn't always truly unlimited these days, and doesn't Peter have to pay to store the entirety of this forum since it's inception? I don't care if it would only save a few cents; why needlessly waste it?

you obviously didnt read post 19. If I could edit the post now I would, wait you know what lets see if a mod will jump in on this since it seems to ruffle peoples feathers so much @desertgem could you delete the repeated pictures, they are the ones before my text....or after either one. Edited to let you know i'm not trying to sound like a smart mouth just I cant do anything about it now.

Not quite; I did read it, but have a hard time believing such problems exist. I admittedly do not post many photos here, but those I have, at least for the past few years, have been from a phone, both android and Apple, and not once have I experienced such problems as not being able to edit (within the given timeframe), or the claimed unintended posting of multiple photos.

That said, and to the best of my recollections, you're about as far as one can get from being a repeat offender, but there are others who do this with some regularity. Perhaps, by voicing the issue at the time of opportunity, it could be taken as good for thought for said others. I'm sure you've participated in threads where someone posts and reposts the same photos over and over and over again, and can only assume you would agree that it is simply unnecessary.

Well it's not intirely impossible, I think it's funny that you go to such lengths and detail lol there has been a time or two where I click that button that says "insert all pictures as thumbnails or full picture. I have clicked it twice by accident. One time I posted it, but I went back and edited it all out. It's okay your eyes will recover from having to look at too many pictures.. People are born children, and some people never stop being children because if you were old enough, you would realize it's unnecessary even talking about this really because we aren't the ones who own this site. What does one expect from the internet? Expecting perfection on the internet is like expecting war to end forever. How much more time on the internet do you people need to realize this? Are we too smart for our own good? Or shall we talk about everything that's unnecessary and forget about coins?

Eric, click edit. Then click more options located below your thread post. Then go through and delete all the photos where it says attachment in the box where you type. Then after you delete every image go down to the images below and click post all images as full images so you don't get people asking for you to post the pictures again. Walk thru in order from what I say.

Click edit, then when you get to this click more options
    IMG_1199.PNG
Delete anything that has (attached =full)

    IMG_1200.PNG
Directly under attached files, click insert every image as full image once, then save. Take a good look at the image below haha notice anything funny?

The longer you're here, Tyler, the more you'll understand why I go to such lengths to be clear. If there is any place on the internet where the obvious will be ignored, it's here. ;)

It's also not my eyes, but is having to pay for the "privilege" of repeatedly looking at the same photo simply because someone doesn't wish to spend a few seconds of their precious time editing, or because they think posting it ten more times will change everything. I don't care if it's a nickel per month; it's unnecessary and adds nothing to the discussion or subject (this is a general statement and in no way directed at the OP). That said, the offenders on this forum are nowhere near as bad as some others.

This site isn't necessarily the same as the "internet" as a whole. As I understand it, the owner has gone to great lengths and has made personal sacrifices in order to keep it going. Since we are a rather small community, I don't think it unreasonable for (at least regular) members to respect it or needlessly waste his money.

Touché. But seriously... instead of dogging the people and making them feel stupid, this forum really isn't exactly self explanatory, so why not help them figure out how to instead of going on and on and on about something that doesn't pertain to the forum other then your own personal opinions. I mean you would think that the moderator would do their job if they felt like this was too much to post. You guys are smart guys. Should be teaching before poking fingers. I mean that is the more respectable thing to do, is it not? It's very hard to figure out this site. Especially if you don't use the internet that much. I think it's just more considerate if you are so worried about the pocket books of the owner of the site. I'm not trying to argue, just... come on haha enough if you can't agree with those points, I don't know what to tell ya.

Sometimes when I know a sour puss is a person's disposition I expect a sour answer. Everyone is welcome right? You are a nice person stay that way . Thanks for being do informative.
IT doesn't really matter what a person's disposition is like, that constitutes a persons level of intelligence or their passions. So please know that, I was not insulting him by any means. I was just saying accept him for who he is and don't be perturbed by his answers... because you know him and respect his knowledge. Sorry if I insulted anyone, that was not my intent. I happen to like the feed back!! If my answer comes with questions that's fine as long, as I get my answer. That's all we're really looking for, and if a responder has a few questions of his own , that's only fair.

Oh, so kind of like what this very wise man once said...

Funny how that works, isn't it, Tyler? Apparently, though, it's okay for you all while preaching and wagging your finger. Gotcha.

Perhaps once you have actually done something to help others in this hobby, your position will be taken seriously. Oh, and do try to watch your mouth.
