Something definitely seemed off with this seller.

The toning slabbed coins thing is worrying and why I wish pcgs would image all coins like ngc does.

I BELIEVE YOU'LL FIND THAT CT WONT GET INVOLVED!

A seller in this venue sold me a coin for close to a grand in this venue which was never received, nor the promised refund of approximately 8 months past. It's believed he asked for the auction to be closed before we finalized the sale, but when I asked for the time of the closure request from site management, I was told the buyer-seller efforts were a matter in which CT would not get involved.

I believe the site denial was a reasonable response without a subpeona, and to not expect involvement without a judicial action.

As a sidebar to the essence of this thread, I believe it can be readily established that eBay has proven they place little importance upon the source of images, as they currently grossly allow sellers to list auctions of TPG graded coins with an image having a serial number, while multiples of the coin are sold.

I also won a very scarce graded double eagle on their site, paid for the coin, and then noticed that the seller, a non-resident of the U.S. who had written a book on the subject, had "borrowed" the image from a past auction, and was selling the coin a 2nd time. Upon reporting the incidents, eBay deleted all evidence that either auction had ever existed. I never received a response or a refund.

It's believed that eBay learned well from PayPals past nefarious actions, and the class lawsuit which never saw a jury, by "buying" the plaintiffs attorneys, still not finalized more than a decade later.

Without federal legislation and oversight, it's believed these firms know and have virtual impunity.

OP, as a seller of the imaged coin, I don't know that eBay will even allow submission of negative feedback for your perceived injustice? I believe you'll find that upon the buyer initiating payment for the coin, and possibly without a copyright separate ownership auction statement he may immediately sell his property.

I recently purchased, by mutual agreement, a portion of a 7-8 dollar figure of coins listed on this site, which were resold by the seller while funds were in transit. Trust and $1 may get you a cup of coffee, but seldom, little more.

Another sketchy thing about edynamicsmarketing is that he has I believe 2 other seller accounts - can't remember what the names are off the top of my head, but you can tell by the formatting on the auctions, the photos and by the material (primarily AT Morgans).

Sorry, but that last part.... do you mean to say that you recently were a co-buyer on a $1,000,000 to $10,000,000 coin collection and it was a scam?? Listed on CoinTalk or CU?

Exactly as I stated. Your choice of words dictates as our believed fake-reporting indicates, namely "proof of action/intent". As in the current application of "market-grading", If I was to use your choice of word, this industry currently probably could be named similarly. I would suggest that only facts should be stated without judgmental words. Unless we have proof of intent before an action, and an action is properly adjudicated, "just the facts" should be stated. Your amounts are correct! I don't know the relationship between CT and CU, do you, if there's any. I believe the tentacles of CU are unknown.

As in several other actions to which I was/am a party, the matter in both events cited, is still being "negotiated". One shouldn't initiate/engage an action unless there's a reasonable certainty of outcome.

It's unwise to engage a party as eBay and many others with a knife, when they have cannons, look for an ICBM, or someone dedicated to retribution at any cost. The world may someday learn that arrogance and numbers is no match for creativity and dedication.

You know, it would only cost about $10 to give him a negative. Just saying.

So how do you get ebay to not show his auctions in the search standings? I would like to avoid his stuff

@jtlee321 Have you ever been a photographer in England or done wedding photography ?

Is this the one that gets a coin in a PCGS slab, does whatever it is they do to gussie it up, then send it in for 'reholdering and imaging' which then gives them the PCGS true view with all the funky colors? As thought the toning was there when the initial grade was given?

IIRC there were a bunch of threads about that practice, and PCGS had deactivated some certifications over it. NGC otoh photos all slabs as they pass through and uses those for the cert verification so that in-slab modification stuff wouldn't get 'validated'.

edited to add: and please go after the guy for stealing your intellectual property. It is done so much and so many don't 'get' that they don't own your photos.

Vs. when I buy photos (had some coins pro-imaged awhile ago) and specifically to use the photos online. I paid for them, I use them. No different than buying a logo for a small business venture. If one sees a cool image you can't legally just download it and use it on your sign/business cards/product you sell. You have to pay the owner/artist for it.

I have never been to England, although I would really love to visit someday. I have shot a few weddings, not really my cup of tea. I am actually very surprised at the number of Justin Lee's pop on Google when I search for Justin Lee wedding photographer. None of them are me however. One of them is actually located in the Portland, OR area which is where I reside.

Yeah, years ago I used to subscribe to a Justin Lee's photography site, mostly for the photo equipment info. This was during the changeover from film to digital. He was buying, using and explaining the newest equipment.
In 2006 and 2007 I owned and operated a photo service called Vivid Image Photo. I specialized in music acts and classic cars. Not the best choices. For the most part, they didn't have any money and wanted their pix for free.
    Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for pointing out that eBay seller edynamicmarketing is a fraud and fake scamming juicer. I was looking at this Canadian dollar, and it just looked too good to be true. Then I started looking at his other coins and he has many that appear to be juiced, like buffalo nickels that normally do not tone so colourful, then I see he has a reputation of juicing, then I searched for his name and I find this thread. Here is the coin, the nickel, and another artificially toned. Buyer beware!!
