    Hey everyone!

In the LCS today searching through some Roosies for the 1964 D DDO when I came across this nice "little" clashed die. Shows evidence of the reverse design in about 5 places on the obverse, and has almost the full outline of the bust on the reverse. I'll include a normal shot, and one with arrows showing where the clashed die shows through.

Saw a similar coin on eBay (sold items) go for around $300 (in an NGC MS65 holder.) What do you think this one should go for? (Looks UNC in hand.)

Did I do well at melt? ha ha ha.... ;)

Dime clashes, even extensive ones, are very common. There should be no premium for the clashing.

I like it. It's a nice clash. Physics outbid me though; I was only willing to offer 2k for it.

I know this is an old thread and I no longer have any idea what any error is worth, but I do disagree that all clashes are not worth a premium. Just like a "worthless" MD, great examples do have value - sometimes more than trivial. I gladly bought this one and consider it an important part of my collection.
